Pilates (also read as Pa-lah-teez) is a training method that combines a series of controlled exercise movements to strengthen muscles and improve health. Pilates exercises focus to the core of the body, including the transversus abdominis along with the muscles near the spine, cardiovascular exercises, etc., in order to improve the muscle elasticity and joint movement, help the body balance between strength and flexibility that leads to less vulnerability. Thereby, you can get a firm and compact belly area – a good health. By emphasizing on adjusting your breath, connecting your spine and pelvis, focusing on gentle movements, you will really feel how to adjust and harmonize with your body.
When you practice Pilates, the first rule of thumbs is that the quality of your exercises will be enhanced if the quantity of repetitions (reps) is correct. Proper breathing is crucial to help you perform the exercises to the maximum productivity and efficiency. Besides, learning to breathe properly can reduce stress.
While almost other types of physical exercises only affect a certain part of the body, with Pilates, the whole body is involved. This even supports the muscles of the foot. While most people try to lose weight by reducing body fat, one thing few know is that the intention will not be effective as building a solid muscle mass.
You may have heard that fasting doesn’t help to lose weight but tends to cause to lose muscle either. It is true because once you fast, you will lose the firmness of the body. Instead of that, if you increase muscle – decrease fat to slim body down is what we need to aim for. There will be several cardiovascular exercises to improve efficiency in the Pilates. This method will definitely help you maintain a perfect physique with solid muscles and further enhance metabolism. And then, your weight loss plan has been implemented safely and effectively.
Pilates advantages to increase the height during the grown-up time of children, the shape will be formed correctly. Pilates helps pregnant women during their months to increase metabolism and reduce pregnancy, protect the spine and the back, avoid and treat pathology related to the back (back pain, spondylosis, spine or herniated herniation), restore the bone and muscle after injuries etc.
