Strip Dance in the other parts of the world and Strip Dance in Vietnam (especially at SaigonDance Center) have some differences to better suit the customs and needs of the students.
Strip Dance, if translated into the original meaning, means “Striptease” – is an erotic dance and controversial during its development.
In western countries, Strip Dance is quite popular and is often performed in Strip Clubs or nightclubs / bars. Strip Dancers will show off sexy moves and gradually remove every piece of cloth on their bodies, causing extreme stimulation for the visitors to watch.
Strip Dance is simply a type of dance that helps women conquer men and make them fall in love with it in the most irresistible way, causing excitement and strong sexual desire. Although this subject is still limited and banned from circulation in some countries due to its influence/ involvement in the Sex Industry, however, the attraction and benefits of Strip Dance always make it one of the topics that are most interested in both men and women.
Men are interested in Strip Dance because of its beauty and sexual satisfaction, women are interested for the special benefit that helps in the relationship and sexual acts.
Learning Strip Dance at SaigonDance – Professional dance center.
Catching the trend and strengths of this glamorous dance, SaigonDance has brought Strip Dance to Vietnam along with some changes/ reforms in teaching to make it more suitable for the public, without affecting to the culture but still ensure the benefits and goals of Strip Dance.
While teaching, SaigonDance teachers will eliminate striptease elements (naked stripping) so that students can be more comfortable and easy to study in class, but the specific skills and movements of Strip Dance will still be retained, making this subject completely different from other dance types.
The characteristic of Strip dance is often emphasized on the hip, buttocks, thighs and chest. The movements of this type of dance are also often done at a low level, means students will have to learn how to jump / roll / crawl on the floor, using more movement from the knee than the foot like other dances (sexy dance, hiphop, jazz, …)
A typical Strip Dance dance of SaigonDance – choreographed and performed by teacher Fox Ngoc.
To make it diversity and fun for each dance lesson, teachers will sometimes combine with props such as chairs, coats, handkerchiefs, etc. just to help students not to be bored and could practice more skills and ability to move elegantly in everyday life.
