Sexy dance in fact is not an official name for any particular dance genre. In almost every dance like Belly dance, Bollywood, Jazz … there are sexy elements. The name Sexy dance was born in Vietnam since 2008, when SaigonBellydance had a need to find and develop a type of dance on the popular music genres among the youth such as Pop, R&B, Latin, Rock, Jazz … in which emphasizes sexy elements for women. “Sexy dance” is just a name created by SaigonBellydance at that time that is easy to understand and suitable for Vietnamese tastes.
Generally, sexy dance is derived from “Jazz funk”, a genre of dance from Latin American countries, blending Hiphop and Jazz dance. It is also possible to understand Sexydance as Free Style – not belonging to any genre, as long as it has a Sexy element in it.
In Western countries, this type of dance is quite popular and performed quite a lot in night clubs, discos, bars, .. even in art competitions. Nowadays, Korean and Japanese, Chinese dance groups perform a lot of Sexydance pieces in music shows. However, due to cultural characteristics, a part of Vietnamese people are still not familiar with this new dance style. In recent years, the perspective of people has changed due to the positive effects of this dance.
First, Sexydance “forces” your body in shape right after a few first lessons. You will have to hold your back, neck, straight eyes and keep your breasts and butt high in any case, from standing to walking, to highlight the charm of women. There is a fact that 70% of women, especially office ladies, have a habit of hunchbacking, which is something you can change after learning Sexydance.
Secondly, learning Sexydance gives you a sexy body. The movements of the chest, the butt, the sexy standing postures will make your chest, back, butt and thighs extremely tired but you will be surprised: your breast and butt will be fuller, firmer. The movements will force your stomach to work at full capacity to reduce fat, increase flexibility, and your legs will be slimmer and healthier.
Third, Sexydance is alway performed with the hot hit music at Disco dance floors, bars, dance halls, etc. You can confidently dance on any background music like Pop, Disco, Rap, Techno, Hiphop , … Using the movements that u havelearned, coordinating with the appropriate costumes to each event you attend, accompanied by glamorous high heels will help you easily stand out from the crowd.

– Confidence is the most importent factor. Dance freely in the way you want on any background music in a sexy and flexible way. Focus your attention on expressing emotions and coordinating with the melody.
